Since I live on the Gulf Coast -- the standard pack includes: Beach Chair, cooler with bottled water, sunscreen, a couple of towels, a good book, a beach umbrella, a change of clothes for the ride home, a beach cart to roll this stuff onto the beach, and in a waterproof container worn as a necklace -- a couple of dollars and an ID card for yourself (and wear a comfortable but modest type swimsuit -- don't offend anyone!). That way, you can get a snack when you want, and you have everything else secure in another location.

Sunscreen, blankets, beach towels, food & drink, friends and a beach umbrella.
Wouldn't bring any kind of beachwear, as I go to a nude beach.

well that all depends on how busy the beach is, if it ain't real busy my Jeep would be the most fun. if too many people for that, then food, a cooler of cold beverages, sunscreen, a body board and my 8ft. kite, and my dog.

a sheet, a good book, sunglasses, flip flops, tanning oil or a sun block, a hat, something to drink preferably in a cooler, some snacks, a kneeboard, a float, maybe some binoculars.
