a candidate who only went to a community college for State Senator?

Depends on his life experience. I'd rather vote for a community college person who has led an honorable life, been connected to his community and achieved success in his chosen career than one who graduated with honors from an Ivy league school and then accomplished none of the above.

sure, depends on the person and if he has some sort of record that can be researched. I wouldn't vote for just some guy off the street, but then again, it wouldn't be much riskier than voting for someone who was connected to all kinds of sleezy crap and had a long record of politics.

Well, we have a president whose grand parents gave so much money to Harvard and Yale that when it came to allowing Bush to graduate they said, "We gotta kick up his grades and let him slide through with a C average, its' not like he's ever going to be president or anything"

Sure, education does not quantify intelligence, so as long as his platform agrees with your own and you find him to be intelligent and the best candidate for office....VOTE!
