i just checked for you
virgin blue has nothing under about $380 per person
and jet star dosent do the flight you would have to fly to brisbane or melbourne then get to sydney with another airline
but overall theese to are the cheapest airlines

Some good answers above but I'll recommend an Australian web site listed below.Best there was $191.00 each,but hurry as flights fill fast for that time of year.This company I have use in the past and found them the best and cheapest around for all domestic & international flights.
