I'm so sorry for you losses. But don't give up hope, I had 3 miscarriages before I was blessed with my beautiful baby girl (who just had to be named Hope). It's so hard to go through, but unless the doctor has found a medical reason for your miscarriages, you still have a good chance. My first was a cord accident, and the third was due to a fetal malformation. The second is still a mystery because I miscarried at home and quite early on. Talk to your doctor and ask about testing. After my third miscarriage I had a bunch of blood work done. Nothing turned up so we tried again.

Meanwhile, listen to your body. If you're tired, get some rest. Don't be on your feet any more than you absolutely must. Wear loose, comfortable clothes and eat really well. I sincerely hope that your are blessed with a healthy baby this time!

Its true that you need some testing to find out why it is that you are miscarrying, but I am here to tell you that I am currently 5 monthes pregnant without any intervention (this time the pregnancy is a total suprise) and I had 5 previous miscarriages, I am 35 and this all started when I was 19, so yes its possible, but go to an endocrinoligist. Good luck to you!

Do you know why the miscarriages occured? Certainly, you could be miscarrying because your fetuses have a genetic condition and this would make other future babies a higher risk to miscarry. On the other hand, and this is the bigger hand, a huge number of pregnancies miscarry. Many women miscarry without even knowing they are pregnant.

My neighbor miscarried from age 40 - age 45 - maybe 4 miscarriages, it got pretty awful there. And, then, one held. A beautiful, healthy, delightful girl. And I'm sure there are many such stories.

Make sure you are taking prenatals - hopefully you have been since before getting pregnant - that folic acid is so necessary for the proper formation of the spinal column - and take good care of your health - including stress.

Good luck to you.

Have you been to a doctor that could explain your previous miscarraiges? Of course, sometimes miscarraiges just happen. It's mother nature, and it sucks. I've had two as well, although not back-to-back.

It may just be unfortunate for you that this has happened. They say that one out of every three pregnancies miscarries before week 12. But if it happens a third time, I would make an appointment with an ob/gyn to have some tests run, to make sure you don't have an ovarian cyst, or a tilted uterus. Some things are easy to fix, and will eliminate your heartache.

My friend had six miscarriages before she got her son. Sometimes it just happens. Good luck, and I hope this time everything goes fine. Think positive!

You should be extra cautious. Maybe just bed rest. But make your doc do a ultra sound ASAP they can see some things. And try not to stress it is bad for you and the baby. Eat good foods and keep your feet up, and off of your feet whenever possible. No heavy lifting like no more than 5 to 10 pounds. But have test done if possible so you can be sure. My mom had a few miscarriages before me and my sister so I hope that helps a little. Good Luck and Best Wishes.

hi there,
i have a sister-in-law who was pregnant twice and lost both those two babies and then got pregnant again and it was a girl and she is 10months now and is fine, and now she is pregnant and due in December so i would say it all depends on your body and how complicating the miscarriages were, even tho i am now doctor i would probably say yes there is a chance you could miscarriage and no there is a chance that this baby could be absolutely fine.
bye

Not sure why you are having your miscarriages however I know that my nana had 4 of them and then had my dad he is an only child but is now 52 so he is living prove that my nana could do it. I don't see why it isn't possible that you may care a baby to full term. I hope everything works out for you good luck

there's always a chance, however talk with your doc. about it. They may find that you need medication to help you out with this pregnancy. There have been many women to have lots of miscarriages and they have a beautiful baby. Dont worry it will work out for you, just be sure to take your vitamins and follow the doc. instructions. Hope that everything works out for you!

It depends on why you are having miscarriages. I know people who've had multiple miscarriages and then gone onto have a baby, but some needs hormone treatments before conceiving again.

You will most likely be able to still have kids, you should probably ask your doctor about it though to find out statistics and such, but my mom had multiple miscarriages when married to her previous husband and a couple before she had me with her second husband (my dad), and I think she may have had a miscarriage after me but she still had 2 more kids after that. so it really depends, but most likely you will still be able to have kids, you may have some more miscarriages, but not all of them will be.
