I do like both of them, and as a teen I grew up listening to Blink, so I would go with them. Relient K is pretty awesome, too, though.
A quick note: Angels and Airwaves is terrible! I wasted $10 on that CD! Boxcar Racer was a much better half-Blink band!

Saves The Day (sounds somewhat similiar to Relient ok) Silverstein Saosin Aiden Angel and Airwaves, +40 4 (they're bands formed by way of Blink182 individuals) The sound asleep Emanuel Taking back Sunday UnderOath (screamo/ metalcore band) Alexisonfire frightening youngster Scaring young toddlers Fall Out Boy ordinary Plan (equivalent to NFG) The Used Rival faculties Coheed and Cambria (mind-blowing guitar enjoying)

Gross. They're both wretched.
The main difference is religious/moral lyrics versus all-out, say-what-we-want lyrics. Between those two options I'm going to have to go with Relient K.
Although I'm going to choose the best in-between alternative and go with Angels and Airwaves.

Blink-182 *****!!! them, green day, and good charlotte are the only powerpop groups i listen to. blink is the only good one.

Being a Christian, I think Reliant K is better. But I'm not really into that type of music.
