The way the world is today.... Do you think we will even make it to the year 2010. I know it's not that far ayway but as I said...... The way the world is today, the way things are going, think we will make it? How do you think it will end?

I am optimistic. These leaders of countries know full well that to launch a nuke would invite retaliation from all corners. No one would be dumb enough to think that the launcher would only target one country. (There are hundreds of missiles aimed at countries that have nukes, by other countries that have them.) Or that they would not try to use nukes to get their way with other countries in the future. Even Iran would not be that stupid. Right now, the USA, Great Briton, Russia, and China, all have nukes aimed at Iran. If they launch at one, all will have no choice but to launch their own to protect themselves. The fall out around the world of nuclear particles would be devastating. Iran would cease to exist. So what would be the point? There just is not enough virgins to go around.

Yes we will. like alot of people didn't think we would make it to the yr 2000 but hey we did gosh that is only 4 yrs away and i know things are looking kinda bad... but we will make it. and i hope we'll make it for a lot of yrs after that too cuz i don't have kids yet and or a husband and or a career or anything we better make it further then 2010..... this world better start getting itself into shape again....â¥

We'll make it that far, yeah, but I'm not sure how much longer after that. Things are getting more and more tense every day and sooner or later some insane leader of some dufus third world country will shoot a nuke at someone and start WW3.

Yes, I believe we will make it to 2010. The world was supposed to go through major changes--continents shifting and breaking up in 2005. So far as i know that's yet to happen. My guess is changes in the climate. We will just have to wait and see.

I think we will make to 2010 and way beyond that. There will be wars fought. There will be disasters, famine, and disease. But there is no reason to believe that humans will not survive. I refuse to believe that we would ever purposefully destroy ourselves. We may come close, but time and time again, humanity shows its resiliency.
And no matter what happens, I will do whatever it takes to fight for the survival of our species and our civilization. And I know I'm not the only one.

Yes we will make it. I think a big bang will end it. The Bible talks about a star called Wormwood that falls to earth and poisons the water could that be a nuclear bomb??

We'll make it a little further than that. As to how much further, its up to us. We are known to destroy ourselves, environment and other things around us. We do it as a group and individually. Look back on history, it speaks for its self. Its sad to say, I know; but there is one thing that may help- HOPE

We're making it. There are tons of theories about how the world will end, and i dont have any because i dont need to worrry about something I'm not going to be around to see
