The wedding day was such a blur! But I was very happy, excited etc. Do take time out between the ceremony and reception with just you and your new hubby!

But here is the best advice I received:

The wedding is just one day (albeit a great one). Your marriage is a lifetime. Too many brides focus so hard on the one day, they forget why they are doing this.

I was totally wrong on my wedding day. I was upset with my husband for something silly. Ive grown so much of a person that I would never hold something so silly against my husband on such a special day. Maybe its because our wedding was not what we wanted. We're planning a renewal ceremony, hopefully it will be even more special.

On my wedding day I felt like a princess on top of the world and that my prince charming came to save me from the world. It was scary but perfect all at the same time but I was happy to know that he was mine oh mine. To be called his wife was a special thing because I knew that from that day forward I was to be called his wife, and the first time he said I like you to meet my wife I got butterflys all in my tummy just like the first time we met. I wish you luck and I hope on your wedding day your feelings were as great as mine best of luck to the both of you. Here is a poem for you too....Enjoy

YOUR WEDDING DAY

Saying "I do" is the easy part,
Doing it is not with ease,
But if you follow your heart,
It is sure to be a breeze!

Do un to each other,
As you would want done on to you,
Always give first to the other,
And the battle you have won!

Think of each other's feelings,
Make each other glad to be home.
Don't do underhanded dealings,
Or you will find yourself alone!

Be honest, open, and loving,
Be caring, understanding, and this;
Start every day with hugging,
And end them all with a kiss!

Do this my darling children,
Remember it every day.
If you do it again and again,
You will be happy in every way!

Now the wedding is over,
Your friends have all gone.
You are alone with each other,
You wanted to dance till dawn!

A new life together is starting,
It started with the words "I do".
Now comes the time of finding,
How much you will really do!

Will you love each other tomorrow?
As much as you do today?
Or will you let fear and sorrow,
Pull each other away?

Remember the feeling you have,
Remember the vows you took.
Do this even in anger,
Make your feelings an open book!

Don't go to the bed mad,
Don't go running back home.
You will only wake up sad,
And find yourself alone!

I pray your life will always be happy,
But I know that is a fairy tale,
Every one has their troubles,
But with love you will prevail!

It's surreal!!! The best feeling in the world, really. One minute you're engaged, the next you're married and a wife. But even better (for me anyways) was the first time I uttered, "my HUSBAND..." rather than 'fiance'. It made me get all tingly, and I had butterflies in my stomach :)

It's absolutely wonderful. Be sure to take private time between ceremony and reception to say you love one another by saying "I love you mr. so&so" and he'll reply with Mrs. so&so it'll definitely make you blush. A suggestion I try to tell every bride before their big day.. on your wedding day be sure to bathe in lavender scent or light a candle that is lavender.. it helps you to relax. Best wishes on your marriage

I got married to my husband at the local courthouse. At one point, I excused myself to go to the ladies room, and when I came out, there was this door leading to the outside. I was very tempted to run, because I was nervous, but I didn't run, I stayed, and I'm very glad I did. 13 years and two boys later, I'm still with him.
