An iron body-shaped chamber that has spikes on the inside. It sort of looks like a coffin but with spikes on the inside and it is standing up. It has a drain at the bottom to drain the blood out of it after the spikes go into the person who is being tortured.

It's a torture device. The victim would be placed inside and sharp metal points of the inside of the walls would be shoved throught the person after the door was closed.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe it was a Medieval torture device that was a cabinet in the shape of a body with spikes all through it. The "lucky" victim was shut inside it.

It was a torture device from the dark ages that pretty much consisted of a coffin with spikes in it. They would place the person in the coffin standing up and if you moved at all, the spikes would puncture you. OUCH!!!!!

torture device - places someone inside a person shaped box with large spikes facing inward. When they closed the box all the spikes (from back and front) pierced the body straight through. The someone inside of it died a slow and extremely painful death.

It was considered a method of torture during the middle ages. Imagine a suit of armor that is hollow and hinged on one side so if you stood inside it it would close on you, then put spikes inside the suit on the door, insert body and close door. You are talking your head off before you even start to close the door......
