I'm sitting here with my laptop sitting on my lap at 15 weeks pregnant myself. I've been reassured by my doctor that it's fine to do this unless it becomes very uncomfortable. He said it would be better to discontinue this until after pregnancy if it becomes a problem.

I used my laptop probably everyday of my pregnancy. It sat on my lap up until it just couldn't anymore : ) My daughter is perfectly fine at 16 months so I think you're ok. But if you're still worried ask you doctor next visit and try to sit at a table or something when you use it. : )

Apparently (according to the health physics society) it is safe to use laptops because consumer protection laws limit the amounts and types of emissions from laptops making them safe for us pregnant types! hehe.

Hope that helps.

Perhaps but batteries can explode on the lap tops. And if you limit the time you have it on your stomach, try using a tray table. And good luck with your baby!

Depends on what your geiger counter says! Not smart to do that. You could get a lead shield.

Check with your doctor about that. Your fetus is probably too small to be affected, but I would double check anyway.
