that's a judgment call, depends a lot on the model and desirability. There is a group of car shows that only let in cars from 1962 and older

Don't confuse the term "classic" with the word "collectible". EVERYBODY seems to think once a car passes a certain number or years old it becomes a "classic". For the record there is an internationally recognized society of car people that determine whether or not a car is a "classic" or not. Currently there are no...repeat NO post WW ll cars designated as "classics" by this organization. (The name escapes me but I know it exists.) Cars designated as classics by this group are cars like Duesenbergs, Packards, etc. You get the picture. Under California law the cars you mention may be eligible for what California calls a "classic" plate but your cars are most certainly not classics by any stretch of the imagination. The venerable '57 Chevy is not even considered a classic in the truest definition of the term. Sorry, that's the way it is.

I wouldn't sell the Camaro. You'd regret it. Hold on to it and restore with the money you ge from selling the other car. Trust me, I own a 1970 Camaro and I wouldn't let go of it for anything.

There's a difference between an antique and a classic.
Any car over 25 years old is an antique (according to antique auto insurers).
To be a "classic" a car has to be coveted by collectors and other aficionados of the year/make/model car.

I thought 30 years was standard. I'm not sure if it changes by state.

These are not really hot items. Of what you have. Look everywhere there is alot of them. I don't think they are worth anything.
