do you believe that if gay people are born gay, then that rapists and pediphils are also born rapists and pediphils? i know rapist and pediphils are a lot more serious than gay people but isnt it the same principal? gay people want to have sex with the same sex, pediphils want to have sex with children. what do you think? if you say gay people are born gay then dont you agree with this concept too? (im sorry if anyone is offended by this, its just my thoughts) im not trying to put anyone down by this question, im also not saying being gay is wrong.

No. I don't believe that people are born gay, but I do believe that people have dispositions toward certain tendencies that if left unchecked or unaltered then it will blossom into something more destructive or constructive.
For instance say that a child has a certain disposition towards hurting animals. Say that the child likes to kill cats, dogs and etc...if no one ever tells that child don' t do that then they will continue in their course of action and it might go from animals to human beings. That feeling of causing pain to a living creature is not limited to only animals.
Overall, no I don't believe people are born gay, pediphils and so on...If someone cultivates these habits and never changes them then I think that they can easily fall into one of the catergories. The one thing that a person has though is a choice...even if they have grown up with these tendencies they can still choose not to be any of these things.

You absolutely ARE saying that being gay is wrong. So is being dishonest.
Anyway, rape has nothing to do with sex. It is all about power and punishing women for some real or imagined wrong that was done to the rapist in his past.
Pedophilia is also a mental disorder in which the perp is either trying to establish relationships that they never had growing up (as with older children, teens, dating) or is a way to make pleasant the abuse that they themselves endured as children. They think that they are being good to their victims (showing love).
Other forms of pedophilia are just rape of powerless victims.
None of these states has any more to do with sex, per se, than does heterosexuality. Sex is the end of the encounter, not the beginning. People seek out sex as a way to bond and find lifelong partners. Attraction is God's way of hooking us up. As usual, though, man has corrupted this set up by putting sex first,for pleasure, rather than last, for bonding.
You focus too much on the sexual act and not enough on the motivation.
Edit: It used to be illegal, and still is in many places. That doesn't stop gays, rapists, or pedophiles. Criminalization never stops anything.
At what age did you DECIDE to be straight? You make it sound like a concious decision to be gay or straight. I never decided. I started looking up girls dresses in kindergarten. Is that when I made the decision?
Children know which sex they are attracted to by age 5, not at puberty.

There is no such thing as a born criminal. People can be born with certain personality traits, such as impulsiveness, which can contribute to the probability that they will commit a crime but ultimately it is their decision. Most crimes are the result of the offender's natural predisposition toward crime, environmental factors during their development which influence this predisposition, and the opportunity for crime with which they are presented.
If being gay were considered a crime then yes, there would be born criminals.

I understand what your asking. In 1 way i do agree with you. The difference is society. In saudi arabia you would be worse off as a gay than your other choices.

Yes I believe that sometimes people are born with tendencies that are unfavorable in society. I also believe that a person's background can affect what kind of adult they turn out to be. Don't apologize for your thoughts. You are a free-thinking individual and if anyone is offended they need not bother to answer. They can move on.

I favor nurture over nature. Most studies that I've seen show that people who become rapists probably had violent childhoods or something of that nature. Likewise for pedophiles, most pedos were molested/raped as kids and weren't able to get those demons out of their head.

Yes, I do believe gay ppl are born gay. As far as Pedophiles go, I believe they are born with something wrong in their head....to want to have sex with children...and men that commit rape, they also have something wrong in their head to be so violent.

Gay people are attracted to people of the same sex as them.
Pedophiles are attracted to small children.
Rapists are attracted to potential victims.
And I do not know if they are born that way, like gay people are but they certainly remain that way for the rest of their lives. But then so do most heterosexuals. Does that liken us to rapists?

You can't be seriously putting gay people in the same category with people who are crimials. Pedofiles and rapist force their parties into sex. Last time I checked, homosexuals are two WILLING ADULTS! You really need to watch what you're saying, because you seriously sound ridiculous!

i am not sure. i know that gay sex is wrong. i dont know if it is a choice or just programmed in there. i am not gay obviously. this is not a question anyone will ever agree on.
