Though I believe that the genocides going on should have been dealt with by United Nations, the fact that it was not does not matter anymore. Regardless of what should have happened, what did happen was for a good reason initially. Though I would hardly call Bush a humanitarian, genocide is a good reason to start a war. Was the genocide going on in Germany not the cause of a World War? Would you consider that unfounded? No. But this issue has been dealt with. Sadaam was captured long ago.
We are not there because we are getting revenge on 9/11. I think 9/11 was a tragedy, as does New York, but the majority of terrorists who planned this attack were not from Iraq. The majority were from Saudi Arabia. Does this mean I think we should start a war with Saudi Arabia? No. A small group of extremists did this. NOT the government. That is like another country making war with the United States because Skin Heads bombed their government building. Do skin heads make up the majority of American Citizens ? NO! Do they make up American Government? HELL no. It is the same thing.
One other argument, that we are helping them by forcing a new democratic government and that is why we are there. Wow. First of all a democracy is a greek word literally meaning people power. The greek people founded the idea of a democracy. Though the Greek form of democracy was sexist in that they excluded women from voting, history still considers this the roots of a democratic government. A democracy gives power to the majority of people. Regardless of what kind of democracy a government has the basic idea is that power is given to the people instead of one, two or three people. What we did/are doing in Iraq is not implimenting a democracy for two reasons. First, we forced it on them. This defies the roots of what a democracy is. Its a oxymoron. Though there was a group of Iraqis who did want a democracy the majority did not. This is the second reason it is a joke. A democracy is based on a majority vote. The majority of Iraq does not want a democracy for whatever reason. So forcing one on them would be hypocritical to the nature of what we are trying to do.
So personally I don't WANT the U.S. to lose the war with Iraq. We have already lost the war in Iraq.
Though this is a big reason, other reasons include ILLIGAL wiretapping. No one is exempt from the law, look at Nixon. Nixon wiretapped a building Bush is wiretapping the entire Untied States!
The recent terrorism Bill. My very first statement to this is that what constitutes a "suspected terorist"? Am I a "suspected terrorist" because I do not support Bush? Or do you have to be of muslum decent to be a suspected terrorist? So does that mean the boy who sits next to me in civics, who has family in Iraq, is a suspected terrorist because he is Iraqi and not supportive of Bush? My second objection to this bill is that it allows the government to conduct a search without a warrent. This is yet another way of how Bush and his administration defies the constitution.
For you republicans. The fourth amendment to the bill of rights says that no search or seizure of property will take place without a warrent.
Among other reasons I can't think of right now...

I haven't the slightest idea of why people are so hateful towards our leader. All I can get out of the 20 or so answers is a bunch of bull SHI* answers that aren't based off of any fact what so ever. For the exeption of about 2 answers, they all list two very ridiculous reasons why they don't like Bush and then they say, "thats just the beginning" Well what is the middle and end?? No one is telling us. And the 2 answers that did go beyond a few OPINIONS, they are manipulation of facts. So based off of the answers on this page, there is no reason not to like Bush.

You are wrong! I like GW Bush very much. Just look at the responses, and you'll find that a lot of us are like-minded. I don't know where you live, but there are areas on the east coast, and west coast of our country that are very liberal. That's where the media is!
You are severely misinformed. Go South, to the Midwest, the rural West, and you'll find real people. The people that re-elected the man!
Bush has stood up to terrorism, and is committed to defeating it. The Democrats are like rats. They are ready to exploit any weakness in Bush's, and the Republicans policies to gain control of the Congress.
Moral equivalence, is not an issue. The Republicans always take their trash out. Nixon, Foley, and etc. The Democrats defend Clinton (both of them), Barney Frank, and all of their disreputable kind.
GW Bush is a good man in a bad situation. He's doing his best. Thank God that Al Gore, and John Kerry are not in his position!
Look around, and get a mind of your own. Watch Foxnews! The media loves to show American failures and mistakes.
Watch FoxNews!

He routinely wipes his asss with The US Constitution. Real Republicans know this. The rest are drones, easily charmed because they believe what they want and disregard the truth.
He's done an unbelievable job of screwing up the environment. I love this one. All the dimwitted neocons will be handing a dying world to their children because of their allegiance to W and his henchmen. How sweet.
He's got the economy cooking, if your already filthy rich. In my line of work I deal primarily with small businesses. I've done my own subtle surveys. The Bush regime has shamelessly damaged America's sense of upward mobility, at least in this neck of the woods.
Oh yeah, then there's that whole "WMDs, Iraq, never ending war" thing.

- Privatizing Medicare. Basically, he gave Medicare to private insurance companies so they can make more money.
- "No Child Left Behind" Act. Basically, he took care of the kids going to private schools, but gave no funding to the public school children.
- He did not finish the conflict in Afghanistan. Osama bin Laden was the culprit on 9/11, so why let him go?
- Too many lies as to why he went into Iraq.
- He still hasn't read the Fourth Amendment on illegal search and seizure.
- No other president had a problem with the Geneva Convention. Why him?
- He talks about giving freedom to Iraq, yet he won't leave. If he gave freedom to Iraq, why can't they vote on whether or not we should leave?
If you want more, let me know...

Lets see:
1) Ignored Al Queda until the towers fell
2) Lied to the country about Weapons of Mass Destruction
3) Lied to the country about Iraq's links with Al Queda
4) Failed to adequately plan for the stupid war he got us into
5) Degraded the political dialog by employing folks like Rove, Cheney, and Rumsfield
6) reversed 50 years of progressive international relations policies, creating an atmosphere where America is hated now more than ever before. In many parts of the world, the US is held in the same regard as the third reich.
7) reversed 200 years of civil liberties with policies like warrantless wiretaps and suspension of haebeus Corpus
8) squandered the largest surpless in US history, replacing it with the largest deficit in US history.

hmmm thinking....he dropped the tax rate, we have the lowest un employment in years, there has been no 9/11 style attacks in the USA for quite some time. My only complaint is he is not near strong enough on the border issue. I am way to the right of Bush in this matter. I like the idea of a fence.....with machine gun towers and mine fields. if they make it past that then the border jumpers will be taken back to where they come from and kicked out of the plane....while the plane is at 25,000 ft.. That should stir up a few liberal hornets.

President Bush has made Americans and Canadians look real bad, because for the most part he acted on a 'lie' to invade Iraq, when the truth is that America has enough problems of its own within its own borders...
President Bush has also revealed to the world how undemocratic the system really is....
A few 'free votes'...an 'electoral system'...and a republic gives one person alot of power...
