I was a phone sex operator for about one month. Basically, you are paid by the minute. The longer you keep the caller on the phone the more money you make. Most companies have a tiered pay system where you are paid based on your average call time. For instance, if your average call time is 6-10 minutes then you would be paid 10 cents per minute for each call. But if your average call time was between 11-20 minutes then you would be paid 20 cents per minute for each call and so on. Hang ups lower your overall call average.

Phone sex operators on average can expect to earn $200-$250 per week. Not nearly as much as the job ads promising to pay $24 per hour. High pay is possible if you can keep your call average high and if you are able to work alot of hours. Many companies will let you work as much as you want but will sign you off if your call average gets low.

The first thing to learn is how to keep the callers talking so they don't disconnect. The best advice I was given was to be very descriptive and ask the caller lots of questions to keep them talking. Thus, keeping them on the phone longer. Also, brush up on fetishes and unusual sexual preferences. Being comfortable with fetishes and transgendered sex will get you more calls.

I did this when I was in school. It's been a few years but I am sure it has not changed. The money was great; if I remember correctly I was making about $20/hour. I got to set my own schedule and if I ever wanted extra work, I could always get it; all I had to do was call into the switching office and sign on. The customers were mostly harmless (most of them didn't say anything at all the whole time). We also all shared like 3 or 4 "phone names" like we would all be Cindy, this way the creeps couldn't call back and ask for us by name. And they give you like 15 scripts to work off of. All you have to do is read your lines.

Some people might think it's creepy or unethical but I don't. Someone's gonna make that money. The pervs are gonna keep calling no matter who is working. So I might as well be the one to take their money!

You can buy a kit and start selling these products. They are sexual products but it is fun to do the parties and sell the items since your buyser are 95% women and most parties are on the weekends and at night.
