Parliamentary government is a system wherein representatives from different districts are voted by the people to form as the legislative body. Ministers are chosen from the said representatives and they elect the Prime Minister who is the chief executive. The Prime Minister controls the affairs of the state and the legislative is only one body as against the bicameral body consisting of the Senate and Congress.

a parlimentary governement is one where an elected chamber of the house elects a prime minister who forms a governement with ministers. Parlimentary government is distinguished by the executive branch of government being dependent on the direct or indirect support of the parliament, often expressed through a vote of confidence. Hence, there is no clear-cut separation of powers between the executive and legislative branches
