Generally panchangs are correct with slight variation of Tithi timings depending on the ayanamsa used for calculation.
Another factor which changes the panchang is the observation of a tithi portion falling after the sun rise/ just after the expiry of previous tithi with short duration after sun rise.

Better go for any Hindu Vedic Calendar, which would give you the best approximate movement of planets etc.

Panchangas are prepared with the help of Ephimeris. They are various standardised ephimeries like NC Lahiri and BV Raman. If the details and calculations are not in contradiction with Ephimeries then it is right. Ephimeries in turn are results of direct observation in observatories. so no need to check them in turn.
