The fact is that adversity does carry the risk of post-tramatic stress, but this need not be the only outcome. It should be noted that almost all of the world's religions, western philosophies, and even the modern sciences state that you can't really have happiness without some hardship. While this my sound a bit trite, it really is what you make of it. If you ever feel overwhelmed, talk it out to with a friend, if that doesn't seem to help consider talking to a therapist. What every you do, don't stop inquiring, If you keep looking, you are bound to find a method that works for you. Good luck.

I don't know 'cause a lot of bad things have happened in my life and it still sucks. It's weird 'cause sometimes really good things will happen and i'll be like thank you god and then something bad will come out of it in the end.I guess there's always some bad with the good and i wish it would end really but i try to not take life too seriously and i can't help it cause i don't want to be a bum in the street with no career or future ahead of me ihave to worry or else what's the point,i'll get no where if i don't think about things.

Only if you allow each experience to help you learn, and become stronger. And if you act on what what you've learned to improve your life. You can't always rely passively on luck, you have to take control.
