Why are there so many crabby New Yorkers living in S. Florida.?

I often wonder. I mean do they really like our crappy hot weather, or is it something else?

it used to be our cheap cost of living -until they all moved here and drove prices up (as,shol.es)

yea, i think they have a lot of money in new york, so they use it to come to S. Florida because of the nice weather and they can still buy a nice condo or home.
