I like to wear makeup, but i want a good brand that is quality and pretty. i like to go with the pinks and light but bright colors. anybody have any suggestions. all of them would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Well I love makeup and the best eyeshadows if you like variety is mac I like Bobbi Brown for a face make up like foundation and all because they have the better color match up so that you look natural not pink or orange or yellow Clinique has the best mascara I heard chanel did to but these are what I use and if you dont want to go to all these locations go to sephora it is like a candy store to makeup lovers it has everything from cleansers to blush they have alot of variety and the workers are helpful not as snoody has the mac counter is

well, you only find which brands will work through trial and error. Lancome (dillards) is the same thing as Loreal (walmart).
My opinion?:
Clinique superfit is the best base
Lancome photogenic is the best powder
Clinique has the best blush
Covergirl has the best eyeshadow
NY (walmart) has the best "original" colors, they have a new powder eyeshadow with a built in brush, those are really kewl

I use Arbonne. It is all natural, so it doesn't have all the "junk" in it as the other make-up does. The offer a wider variety of products in lots of color. It is costly though, but it my opinion well worth it.
If I didn't wear it, I would probably have a variety of stuff from Lancome, Estee Lauder, Revlon and Sonia Kashuk.

Go to any major department store that caries a variety of brands. Check out MAC because they have a variety of products and shades. Smashbox is also a good line, but I think you will be happy with the MAC line.

Over the years I have really stuck with Bobbi Brown Makeup for the face and I love Stila eyeshadows.

Avon has a really neat line called "mark". So many people think Avon is their grandma's company, but Avon is totally current with the times and has high quality products for all budgets, unlike MaryKay which is super expensive.

GO TO CLINIQUE!!!!!!!!! They have the best make-up. Go to the makeup counters in Dilliard's and they will do your make-up for you. The make-up is pretty expensive but it is worth it. Also, ask them about their 3-step skin care system. It really is good make-up.
P.S. If you want cheaper make-up almay, maybelline, and loreal paris are good as well. but clinique is the best by far.
