The artists themselves often have plenty to do with no count if or no longer they're seen as christian or secular. i'm cynical even with the incontrovertible fact that - so I continually anticipate that signing to a christian checklist label, advertising in christian song magazines, and doing events at christian bookstores is an obtrusive attempt at getting funds from christians (the comparable as many 'authors' who write self-help books, etc. geared in the direction of christians).

there are a lot of good metal/hardcore christian bands...the most popular being Underoath,so I'll say that.
