Well for one thing your friend was out of line with her laughing and you got involved trying to help but that made you a part of the problem. You didnt mention what was so funny it took you both out of class and disrupted the whole room. your friend was disruptive for the laughing. you were disruptive for the defense (doesn't really matter how you see it). your silly behavior may not have been drug use but the problem was solved. you were removed from the room and now you're going to prove your innocence. the teacher gets to continue with her teaching day.
maybe its not fair but you got in trouble anyway. now get past it. life sucks. live with it.
as a teacher i tell my students that no matter what their efforts, i will always win. when the situation gets rough all i have to do is prove that my student has impeded upon the learning of other students. once the referrals and parent conferences start rolling i don't have to do much except document each unruly act. the only one who can lose is the student. i know i'll still have my job next year.
will you be in the same grade again next year?

Since when is fair to disrupt a class by laughing for about 10 minutes straight? Some people do take classes to actually learn something you know.

Laughing might be a sign of drug influence but not always. Maybe, it was just a ploy of the teacher so that her students will not laugh during class since those who will laugh will be subjected to drug test. File a complaint with the Principal's office against the teacher.

WOW Informer sounds like she is a REALLLLY REAALLLLY .....no.... REEEEEAAAALLLLLLY GREAT teacher!!!!!!!
SUPER GREAT EVEN!!!!!
Humiliate the students and hold them back a grade becase they have ideals and you must be proven CORRECT!
YOU MAKE ME SICK!!!!
SICK!!!!!!!!
" i don't have to do much except document each unruly act. the only one who can lose is the student. i know i'll still have my job next year.

Thats disgusting! Had you rounded up the defender of the laugher you woudlnt have even nabbed a BAD child... way to go... just stomp all over those with integrity and courage!!!!
Its attitudes like yours that make the world such a cruel and petty place to live..
no the world isnt a pretty place... and you sound like one of the reasons why... but that also seems to make you proud! congratulations you make a difference!
*Luekas: There are other opinions stated on here that say you could have handled the situation a little differently... they may be right... but Informer is completely wrong.
Don't let people like her riun your world view... get educated and get yourself into a position where you can teach people like her a lesson.
** I don't think the laughing is what was being defended here... I think its the fact that someone was outright and blatantly accused of something much bigger when that was never the case at all.

A. you keep your mouth shut and let your friend speak for herself, sounds like you talked yourself into trouble.
And you should tell your teacher you are sorry and interfered in a matter that was none of your business.
Your friend can explain for herself why she was laughing

You should learn to respect the teachers effort and if you arent willing to do so, then you are being a brat and a hinderance to people actually making the effort.
Its rude to the teacher and its rude to the other people.
You should learn some respect, so should your friend, whether you are high or not....that isnt the main issue.

No, it is not fair to disrupt the class and you should not have defended her because she was wrong.

You are wasting my tax money. Not only are you disruptive in class but you cannot spell.
I read your other questions though, you have much potential.
