Why do Democrats want to forget 9-11 ?

They don't care thousands died on 9-11 They just want to live in their cosy homes and not care what happens to others. Bill Clinton didn't do anything while millions died in other countries. Do we ever want another Looser Democrat?

Republicans want to keep themselves in power using that 'fear' factor that you are talking about. Nobody will forget 9-11, especially the Democrats. NYC is a Democratic town my friend. How quick you forget that Bush and his cabinet started screaming Iraq did it right after it happened. Cheney and Rummy started with their cabal for power while your friend Bush was still singing 'My little goat' to some kindergarden kids in Florida while the first building was burning. He didn't leave until sometime after they hit the second building. He was told the news by his aide, but he still sat in that classroom thinking about that poor little goat, and how he was gonna make a scape goat outta Iraq. BTW Colin Powell dropped out of the cabinet because of people like Bush, Rummy, and Chenney. Don't forget, Bush was told about Osama when we came into office, and he did absolutely nothing at all for 8 months. How do you explain that one my friend.

How exactly do you come by this profound omniscience? Because I need to tell you that your know-it-all meter is broken. Liberals, in general, care very much about what happens to others. Look at the major platforms. Healthcare for all, cleaner planet for future generations, lack of judgement for fellow man(i.e. freedom of marriage, choice, religion, etc.), cheaper, cleaner energy sources, legislation that is TRULY for the people-and not campaign contributing lobbyists. Liberals want the war over so that more of our-and their-people aren't maimed or killed. My husband is a United States Army Soldier about to be deployed, and as proud as I am of him, I cannot condone this war he is obligated to fight, that was based on greed, and costing more lives and money than ANYONE should be willing to pay. I don't think anyone will ever forget 9/11, but let's go after the real enemy here...not some made up one.
P.S. is Bush doing anything while millions of Sudanese die in their civil war, or how about North Korea, where citizens there starve to death so their leader can proliferate nuclear weapons...

I do not ever want to forget 9/11. I wanted vindication for it when it happened. Waiting 3 months for Bush to do something was a little bit late. Then attacking the wrong country under false pretences and arresting the wrong man instead of getting Bin Laden really just killed it for me. After 650,000 deaths with no point - I still haven't forgotten. I think we need to protect the borders domestically. Clinton did what he could with the info he had and a cabinet that would not let him move on it. He was up against the fact that Reagan had sold Iran a lot of its weapons (Remember Iran/Contra).
We don't want to forget.....we just want it over. We want our troops to protect us here instead of protecting a country that hates us.

By the way, millions are still dying. They are in Haiti, Dalfur, and other countries in Africa. I don't see bush doing anything about that either, so get off our soap box hypocrite...
