I loved my major guys, and I'm doing very well.
I'm just curious about how ppl ended up doing what they are doing.

What do you have a passion for? What classes do you enjoy?
You must do what you love or you will hate going to work/classes day in and day out. I love kids, I loved babysitting, I am a natural born leader. All of those qualities equaled a teaching job for me. My b/f has always been concerned about what changes he can make to keep him, family, friends, and the public safe. He is an Environmental Health and Safety Manager. Above all (family opinions, money, etc) DO WHAT YOU LOVE!

I chose History because I love learning about it and its something that I can really get into. When you choose a major, go for something you will enjoy but is also pratical. Don't major in Religious Studies if you don't know where you want to go with it. Always have a plan! If you can't decide, be undecided for a semester or a year, you get a general view of a few majors and see what you like.

I'm in fine arts, advertising major (though it's not just purely advertising). I loved art since I was a kid and I guess as I grew up I had my mind focused in fine arts course when I go to college. I also thought about psychology but I luckily ended up in my current major. My friends went to the courses of their choise too so we're a bit far apart now but we still connect. My sibling and I are also lucky to choose freely our own course by our parents. :)

I was an English major, but when I got unhappy with it and I hated having to stay in the music building all of the time, I knew that I love to write and read and so I became an English/Liberal Arts Major.

I used the old eeny meeny miny mo method, as I was only 17 when I went in to University and had no idea what to do...
FYI, I don't recommend it! Try to play to your strengths and don't be afraid to change it up if you've made a bad choice. I was too scared to change from my major and now have a University degree I don't even use. Plus I'm still paying the bills...

I chose Engineering cause I thought it would be cool know how to fix electronic equipment. I play guitar and built some of my own effects boxes, speaker cabinets.
My friends either went into business to help run family business or engineering, most are military brats like me.
