if the cylinders fit it will work, but you are really further ahead to have the bottom end beefed up to handle the increased power, you do want to use that power don't you ? also make shure you have dual port heads and the bigger oil cooler,run the best oil you can find , good luck

Sounds good,but installing the pistons will require you to disassemble the motor and machine the block and heads.. Since the motors a part try to invest in other parts to make your engine live longer like bigger oil pump, spin on oil filter etc. Be sure to jet the carbs right and sync them correctly. At the same time you might want to install a hotter camshaft. If you got more funds available try heads with bigger valves to improve flow and power. Good luck on your hop up!
