i have two zones (1) is cast iron radiators and the other is hydronic baseboard. Iset the fill valve to 12psi cold but it is still blowing

Just call the man, Aunt Bee!! Really, if the system is only two days old you should call the people you bought it from and have them come and check it out.

the expansion tank may not have been set up properly. Check and see if it is full of water (just tap the side). If it is full call the repairman back he probably forgot to pressurize the tank. Don't Worry its an easy fix and won't take long. It also could be the valve that holds the city water pressure back. Too be on the safe side turn off the boiler and the water supply this should keep it from blowing until the repairman comes back.

Needa New Expansion Tank I'm Guessin.....Mighta Put The Check Valve In Backwards.....

If it was just installed a few days ago, I'd call the installer and have them come back out and make the thing work correctly. They will probably have more knowledge of the system's operation then you do at this point.

My guess is you have air in the system. 12 psi sounds good. Pressure relief valve is set at 30 psi. It's good that it works.Get installers back. Good Luck

you might have the temp. up to high and possibly have air in the line
