I took some equate aceptomenaphen last night, and within an hour or two i was exhauted, very weak, and very chilled. An hour or so later we were about to leave, and my boyfriend had to help me to the car. At least half of the way there, (about 45 min) I was slightly incoherent, and for part of it even slurring my speech. Then he bought me some crackers and gatorade, and i started acting more normal. Today, I've slept a great deal more than normal and i feel very tired and weak. Do i have an allery, or was this a tainted bottle of medicine?

Acetaminophen (Tylenol) is usually pretty safe with few side effects. How much did you take? Did you take more than the bottle said or did you take it with alcohol? That can be really bad for you if you don't follow the directions; like another person said it is bad for your liver. Why did you take it? Maybe not feeling well afterwards was part of whatever caused you to take it. It sounds like your blood sugar was low...the weakness, slurred speech and generally "being out of it". Gatorade and crackers would help raise your blood sugar and make you feel better. You should see a doctor and let them know what happened. Stay away from the acetaminophen until you know that the side effects just weren't a coincidence.

this medicine has been known to cause hypertension and dizziness in very sensitive individuals if used regularly....so if your problem has only been happening after using it then you could be highly sensitive to medicines. i know when i take regular acetominophen I have at times had a strange feeling. You could call your local drugstore pharmacy and ask them about it and describe your experience after taking it.
