go to a theatre school-acting school (most cities have em)
get in some theatre-plays
once you think your an actor-actress, start trying for extra or very small roles.
Once you land a role (small or big) get a agent.
extra roles are easy to get if you know where one is being filmed. movies need tons of extras.
One thing leads to another. Agents once your known can get you roles.

First of all you have to be a good looking person if you want to make really big. because everyone knows looks are everything in Hollywood. and you have to get some agents to notice you and see your acting skills and charisma.

go to acting school, act in as many plays and musicals as you can! watch movies and tv and plays and musicals to see how other actors perfect their craft.

hang around a college campus, look for anyone making a movie, and ask if you can hang around or have a bit part. go to auditions for local independant filmmakers.
