Evergreen and deciduous I think...something like that. Evergreen stay green pretty much forever and Deciduous trees have the leaf cycle. I can't remember some examples.

Evergreen (Coniferous) and Deciduous trees.

Evergreens don't lose their leaves in winter, and Deciduous trees do.
