If it's a job that you really did enjoy, then it certainly is a traumatic experience to lose it. Take some time to step back and recognize that you have a right to feel bad about it.
Then, register for unemployment and job searches on the internet or in person. Decide if you want to continue in the same line of work, or if you might like to try a different direction.
Through all of this, don't forget to take some time to have fun. It's still okay to go out to the movies, or go shopping, or do anything else that you did while you were employed. Sure, it will be important to watch the spending, but that doesn't mean that you still can't indulge a little.
Also, try to get up in the morning around the same time as when you were working. Try to keep a similar schedule.
Don't hang your head. This has happened to a lot of people. Stay positive. Things will get better.

girl you have def come to the right place. Don't worry you will be fine just get up tomorrow take a nice shower put your best clothes on and go out there and find another job. It might take some time but you must know you WILL find something. Don't be down these are the times when you have to be strong and not think negative. You will be fine. Dress up your resume and email away. You will have people asking you for interviews like carzy you'll see. think of it more like a small mini very mini vacation. Good luck.

Hey it could be worse, you could be terminaly ill or could be losing a leg. Losing a job sucks but its not the end of the world, I lost my job and was unemployed for about 3-4 months but eventualy I found a new one....and a better one I might add. Jobs will come and go until the day you retire, so keep looking for new ones. Im sure you will find a better one, try looking at Monster.com.

Tina, Ay Tina. Look up! For your help comes in the name of the Lord. Do you have a Bible? If so read, Psalm 121. Everything is going to be alright.

True happiness and contentment will only come when you have accepted Jesus Christ into your life. A verse in the Bible says "You (Jesus) alone are the real joy giver..." When He made us, he gave us an emptiness, a longing so that we would never have a completness without Him. Once we ask Him into our lives, He fills that void with Himself! Believe me, He is the only true way! And He loves you, and longs to take you into His arms and comfort you.
