I have to write a plot hook for my English project, but is it just a hook? Like, "......Find out by reading this book!" or is it more like a summary?

I think what your teacher is trying to figure out is how to get into your English Topic. You need to find ways to do this.
1. Paint a scene that "hooks" the reader into your paper
2. Give a breif overview or summary of the paper
(But PLEASE don't go like this: My paper is about ____) Try to make this as INTERESTING as possible.
3. If you have a poor hook, no one will want to read your paper.
4. I wish you good luck!!!

A hook is an inciting incident that grabs the attention of the reader or audience. " Find out by reading this book " is a tagline.
What's the project and what are you writing? In order for there to be a hook, you need a story. Good luck and have fun. Writing takes a lot out of a person but there's a lot of joy as a result.

i like it :). i admire how Jenna's not a skinny-mini little Mary-Sue blond haha. It makes her greater genuine and each little thing. i in my opinion have long exceeded by using cases the place i'm very insecure and particular human beings(very akin to Katia) make it worse. i could be waiting to narrate to Jenna and that definetely attracts a reader in :) possibly upload slightly pizazz interior the plot, even though it sounds super!
