im in pre algebra too so yea i actually can do fractions u can use a calculator but to divide u turn the 2nd fraction and multiply so 5/8 divided by 4/5 equals 5/8 times 5/4 which is 5 times 5 25 then 4 times 8 is 32 so its 25/32 10 divided by 2/3 equals 10 times 3/2 10 times 3 is 30 and 10 times 2 is 20 so 30/20 which equals 15/10 which equals 3/2 so 1st 1 is 25/32 2nd 1 is 3/2

when you want to divide a fraction by another you take the reciprocal of the second fraction (turn it upside down so the bottom number is at the top) and then multiply the top numbers and the bottom numbers. so it becomes 5/8 times 5/4. 5 times 5 is 25 and 4 times 8 is 32 so the answer is 25/32. for the second one, turn 10 into a fraction - 10/1 and multiply 3 by 10 to give 30 and 1 by 2 to give 2 which gives 30/2 which is 15.

It's easy once you do the first few.

What you do is flip one of the fractions around, so instead of it being 5/8 divided by 4/5, it's 5/8 divided by 5/4. Then you multiply the numerators (5x5=25) and the denominators (8x4=32). Then you make your products into a fraction (25/32) and simplify...

When you divide, you actually flip the 2nd number around and multpily. So, the answer is 25/32.

For the 2nd problem - m = 10/ 2/3 --> m = 10 * 3/2 = 30/2 = 15

when you divide a fraction by a fraction you just flip the second one over (for example 4/5 becomes 5/4) and you multiply.

well its easy...u actually have to multiply!
you take the recipricol of the second number (recipricol-the fraction just upside down, i.e. the recipricol of 1/3 is 3/1)

so you have 5/8 divided by 4/5
that gets changed to 5/8 * 5/4
then if you know how to multiply out
you get 25/32

the second one
10 divided by 2/3
10 times 3/2
30/2
15

hope i helped
