Anywhere I can find the specific job of a CPA? Its for a paper. So far I know they can work pretty much anywhere (corp, public, gov't, non profit org, and individuals).
They can work as a CFO, Partner (though its difficult to obtain), auditor, treasurer, credit-analysis, cash management, etc....
But do they have any specific job roles with a Certification that puts them above and beyond non-certified accountants?

CPAs do work in any finance related field. But, what CPAs can do which no one else can do is audits of financial statements. Expressing an opinion on financial statements can only be legally done by CPAs. Anything else they do, including taxes, requires no certification.

Try the state CPA board. That is usually a good source.
