Saltpeter (potassium nitrate) absolutely does not affect male anatomy either way as an aphrodisiac or a libido killer. It has some utility in medicine and it is used in preserving meat...(also used in gunpowder).
If someone personally testifies that saltpeter killed his sex drive, it was only through the power of suggestion and psychological.

All I know you give the guy saltpeter and the female Spanish Fly and go from there.
