Ok before you go beserk on me I want you to remember the Playstation's and Xbox's history on launch day for thier systems. They were full of bugs! People had to return them because they were rushed to sale. $600 for a system is too much to begin with but the possibility of it not working when I buy it is just not worth it!
I'll wait 6 months when the price drops!

I agree that the first systems will have a lot of bugs in them for sure. The PS3 is a very complicated system and the Sony people have had a heck of a time trying to get it to work right. I would wait for the 2nd batch to come out before you buy one, but Sony will stand behind it's system so if anything does go wrong with it they will replace it for free.

Not only the bugs. The system over heats every 30 minutes. I don't know why anyone would pay over $500 for a Game Console that needs to be turned off after a half an hour. I'm sticking with my PS2 it's been good to me since i got it a couple of years. Dosnt't break, the games are still being updated like NBA 2K7, Live 07, Madden 07, Fifa 07, World Cup 2006, Fightnight Round 3, Final Fantsy 10 or 11 or is 12, I do not remember but my point is Rockstar, EA, and other Game Productions will still be making newer Playstion 2 Games for a few more years and by that time we can hope that Sony, Microsoft, or some other Company will make a new better console.

I agree with you because the ps3 have about 3 times as many bugs as the ps2 and the xbox combined. The ps3 had to recall the system about 5-6 times because of what it does to your tv. The ps3 also pulled back showing it off to change the controller from the "boomerang" to a normal controller and they copeyed the xbox 360 by putting a button in the middle of the controller that lets you turn on and off the controller and the console. They also copeyed the WII'S ability of wireless what i mean is ps3 controller can now move around like the wii controller and the game will move to they recall the ps3 to add these minor adjustment but it would probably increase sales. But thats just me.

well first of all, most people dont realise that they will have to buy completely new movies i.e. completely switch over to more expensive blu-ray disks for those who use game stations for dvds, and most people also think picts they see of games are in game, there wrong, its all movie clips, in conclusion, i have no idea why people wouldnt buy both a wii and a 360, thats what i am doing (well my sis get wii)
