I give freely of everything that I have, my possessions, my love, everything.
What I get back is up to the recipient, but I don't expect anything, I only give "Everything".

Not at all. I enjoy giving, especially to those that need it. I think people (like me) that have had to struggle their whole life are more likely to help others that are struggling. When I give a gift, or just something to help someone, I never expect something in return. I give for the sake of giving. I am a very generous person.

There were some situations where I would randomly buy something I know a certain friend would like and just give it to them for the heck of things. I rarely expect something in return except if it's Kris Kringle/Secret Santa at work. :P
When it's KK, it hurts to see that you spent all this time picking a nice gift and wrapping it for someone is rewarded with a crappy little crinkled envelope with a gift card to HMV in it. Yeah, it's the thought that counts but ... *sigh*

With people that I'm not all that close to. When it's fam, then I love giving lots and lots of presents but I don't expect anything back.

Generally speaking no. Although it depends on what I gave you. If it was a compliment, I think I'd like one in return. If it was herpes, well... you can just keep that - don't worry about it.

It would depend on the situation.When it comes to giving my friendship to someone.....yes,I expect it in return.If we're talking about something like my compassion......then no.I give that freely.

sometimes. but when i give something really nice for a b-day,x-mas,etc. i expect to get something good as well, for the same occasion.

well iam not going to front sometimes i do give to recieve,but mor than half i give not look for anything in return

dont expect ANYTHING in return, what makes me mad if they give something absolutly crappy like giving a christian a menorah for christmas...or something.....
