Let's start at the beginning and make sure your doing what you really should be doing (your description left a shadow of doubt in my mind). You should be trying to remove the hose connection that attaches to a valve on the wall for your washer. You should have turned off the valve first, then tried to loosen the hose by turning it counter clockwise, but it is not budging because it may have corroded to the valve ( a common occurrence). You've tried using a lubricant (tap on the connection after you apply and allow it to soak in for 30 minutes). You may need to use a pair of channel lock pliers on the hose connection and another one on the valve to make sure you don't torque the line the valve is connected to. A final attempt would be to apply heat to the hose connection (this will ruin your hose, so you'll have to get another if you haven't already). Be careful to apply around the outside of the hose connection and not so much to the valve. Then, try the pliers again, sometimes the heat will expand the connection and break it loose. Watch out for catching the WD-40 on fire, wipe up any excess before you try the heat and have an extinguisher handy, just in case.

Righty tighty lefty loosey. Sounds simple but people mess it up. Use channel locks to turn it if needed. A man, brut, may have turned it on too hard to easily turn it off. If all else fails turn the main water supply off to the house and replace the valve.

You should be able to get it with a couple of pipe wrench's, providing you have the room. And if you can get a pipe on the end of one of the pipe wrech's , that will give you some extra leverage.

You need a pipe wrench the harder you push the harder it grips.
