When doing high level comparisons between different commercial security suites, most of the them are very comparable.
A lot of times, if you catch a lot of garbage (spyware, viruses, etc) scanning with different antiviruses will give interesting results. You'll notice that none of them really does the full job and that's actually normal because they can not prevent most of the new viruses from taking control.
The best tool to protect you is knowledge! Of course, this being said you should still use a good security package, any of those you mention should do the job as well.
Note: I strongly discourage anyone to play mix and match though, because that will reduce your protection. Complete packages are made to have complementary modules. If you use different tools from different packages, you may miss on some options.

I have heard great things about Panda. Someone told me it is the best program out there (a good source!). I tried their free online scan and Panda found things that Norton had missed, when I had it. McAfee and Norton are pretty similar and probably almost the same service that you get out of both. There is nothing real special about either because usually you can get them both for free after rebates. Panda you have to pay for because you get a great program and I recommend it either though I've never had the pay version.

Zone Alarm is better. Specially the firewall. It protects your pc from intruders trying to get in your PC. And it doesnt consume allot of your work to your computer. Not like Mcafe, it always scans every second. While Pan duh? Well to me thats nothing. I use ZOne Alarm as my firewall "just pay for the firewall of zone alarm" and Norton Antivirus to make everything stronger. And for spywares and adwares.. download windows defender beta 2. There.. with all those 3 softwares you will be protected...
