to be a great rapper? I want to learn how to properly sing rap songs that have already been published..I don't wanna sing as a pro, just sing to the songs I listen to in my free time.
I live in VA so it might be helpful if a studio or somethin' is near herre. I wanna learn how to sing in a deeper voice and i've been practicing and getting just a little bit better @ it. I've been trying to copy Chamillionaire's songs and try to sing like him, but I can't get my voice deep enough.

Well just like being a great guitarist like Slash, you have to listen to songs all day and practise practise practise. If it's speed you're having trouble with, then work on speed. Unfortunately, you can't really manipulate your voice to get lower, but don't try to be someone you're not. It's good to have influences, but it's not good to be a wannabe.

Look up some freestyle battle videos. Listen to rap more often, but all that's obvious.
A good rapper has a intricate vocabulary, maybe you should look into that also.
