Yes it is very possibly accurate. If I was you I would call a dr and make an appointment and or wait untill ur period is a few days past due and take another test.
Also to the person that said EPT is the most accurate thats wrong. EPT showed negative 4 times when I was pregnant.

I miscarried in March and asked the doctor if there was a possiblity of having a false positive on a HPT and just be having a bad cycle, he said NO WAY, the hormone (HGC) that it detects is infallible. Don't know, I tested with my first child on the 7th day from conception, 14 days from starting and had a positive hormone level on an EPT. I went to the doctor on the 9th day and had a postive result there too. I went online and found the HGC level for each HPT (generics included) and it helped me decide which kind to purchase from then on. EPT can detect the smallest amount of HGC according to the website I found. I hope this helps and congrats, this is a very exciting time. My son is 4 now and I couldn't be happier.

You are pregnant and yes it can detect that early on some women! CONGRATS!!!!!
Here is some info for you:
If an egg was fertilized, implantation (when the embryo implants to the lining of your uterus) happens, on average, about 7 days past ovulation. It can happen as early as five days past ovulation or as late as twelve days past ovulation.
Early signs of Pregnancy:
Nausea/vomiting
Headache
Food cravings
Heightened sense of smell
Missed period
Backache
Crampy
Extreme fatigue
Tender/swollen breasts
Frequent trips to the bathroom
These signs can appear as soon as implantation or anytime after, each woman is different! Some women have all of these, some have a few and some women don't have any signs.
Good Luck!

I say that yes it can. I tried for 3 years to have my daughter and I almost always had tests on hand and one day I just thought I would take one and it came out +.I was shocked I went to the er,for a little spotting and they told me my #'s were so low, that they couldn't tell if I was going to miscarry or if it was just really early in my pregnancy.Turns out it was early in my pregnancy,I was only around 2 to 2 and a half weeks along.Hope this helps,Good luck.

I think that you should go to the doctor. I have also been trying to concieve and a positive is positve. Not all conceptions result in pregnancy if there is any problem the pregnancy will terminate naturaly. I suggest you go to the doctor just to be safe because you don't want to risk it by waiting.

Make sure you use EPT. This is one of the only tests that can detect the smallest amount of HCG. Other tests can easily give false positives. Or you could just get a blood test.

If you ovulate closer to the beginning of your cycle than "normal", or if you got pregnant a month ago and still had a period, then yes, it can be right on! I would take another test in a week or two to be sure.
if you are, congrats, and here's to a healthy happy pregnancy.

Please do no longer have confidence in an EPT attempt they are no longer sturdy so a techniques as i understand. My female pal used it two times properly into her first trimester and all of the ept attempt got here out unfavourable. Then she tried a regular reaction attempt to evaluate effects and that one got here out advantageous. even with the undeniable fact that she believed the ept attempt for an prolonged time and he or she partied and drank alcohol in the process the being pregnant even took a morning after pill. She lost the toddler. i think of it became because of the fact the ept attempt, if it could have given her precise effects possibly she could have been responsive to the being pregnant and carried out issues otherwise :(

It depends. Have you been taking fertility medication? The hormones in the medication can produce positive tests if you test before your due date. Trust me, it happened to me. Best not to do a test until you are atleast 1 day over due. If you are pregas. CONGRATULATIONS
