perfectly normal. this is just your hips starting to widen in preparation for the upcoming birth. these pains will probably continue and maybe worsen as your pregnancy goes on

I think I experienced the same pains that you're having. I was in school, so I had to set in a hard desk for 7 hours out of the day, my tail bone would hurt. Sometimes it wouldn't hurt when I sat down though, just when I would get up from sitting down.. like you're experiencing. My doctor told me that it was because your body is changing. It's all of a sudden getting "bigger". I think it's because there's just more weight being put on your body. Sometimes I still have the tail bone pain.. it's weird. Talk with your doctor about it... maybe he/she can give you some exercises to do to help relieve some of the pain. Good luck!! Hope you get it worked out. There's nothing worse than being pregnant and being uncomfortable all of the time!

If the pains are near your hips then it is defiantly your round ligaments and is totally normal especially at 28 weeks your baby really starts to grow from now on. good luck to you I had the same pains I am now 35 weeks along good luck to you

Everyone is different, but I experienced cramping throughout my pregnancy with my daughter. It's VERY worrisome. It could be the round ligaments stretching.

if this is your first pregnaciy it is normal as your organs and bones are pushed on as your uterus expands but if it gets too painful see your doctor.
