One of the many reason consumers should consider working with an agent. Sorry to say that and I know it doesn't help you now, but you have no idea how many problems we hear of in the busy season of online bookings. This is something you would never have to worry about with a good agent.
Good Luck to you though none the less, but next time really consider using your local agent. It's worth it and we don't tack on commissions against popular belief.

I'm not exactly sure why people are afraid of travel agents. These type of problems go away with a good agent. These so called cheap sites arent really cheap and then you get horrible service.
I like to travel with a piece of mind. And if a problem does arise I like being able to contact a human being.
I recommend cancelling if you can and go to your local travel agent.
