I once had one that made it IMPOSSIBLE to take a hot shower. I eventually broke the frickin' faucet while trying to adjust it. I remember telling my roommates "I've got good news and I've got bad news. The good news is that we can now have hot showers. The bad news is that I broke the faucet and we have to use pliers."

Get a new faucet. Those stupid scald protectors aren't adjustable--at least mine wasn't.

It should feel pretty good. You might wanna do this in the shower unless you want water all over the bathroom! Hold the shower head beneath your vagina and turn the water on. DON'T have the water on too hot or it won't be very comfortable, but have it on warm. Aim the water flow at your clitorus and feel the pleasure... Hope I helped.

depends on the kind you have - regular anti-scald feature protects kids from the hot water surge when mom turns on the washer, flushes toilet ( they're not smart enough to step out of the stream) - not adjustable - maintain current temp.
the others have a manual adjustment not to let water above a certain temp exit - see owners manual! -adjustable - seen'em never installed them
