it will not start I tried everything

Sounds like the fuel pump went out. Mine did at about 140,000mi.

Pump would still come on, but the fuel pressure was not high enough.

timing is pcm controlled. the distributor only rotates the proper firing order @ the cap and rotor. the pickup inside the distributor is for fuel control timing
Do you have spark?
No ? crank sensor maybe bad.
Do you have fuel with the proper pressure of 65psi?
No ?
Fuel pump went out or power problem to pump.
