Put a pot of water on the stove, and in it, put some cinnamon and cloves or nutmeg, and just let it simmer. It should make the room smell alittle better than burned.

open windows to air out of the house. Use air freshener and clean the area. Use a fan to get the smell circulating towards the open window as well.

if you burnt food, clean the burnt area with warm water and backing soda. If the smell still persists, pour some Vanilla Extract into a wet sponge and wipe down the whole area you burnt with this sponge.

try striking a few matches, keep them lit for a few seconds, blow them out and let the sulfer smoke linger, do this until your smell disappears, it does work.
