Do you think the punishment for the Orange Bowl Brawl was too severe.?

If you haven't seen the clip of the sideline clearing fight you must have been comatos for the past few days. FIU and Miami U had an enormous fight in the middle of a game and originally 31 players had a 1 game suspension, but now several players have been suspended indefinatly and some removed from the team.

Those players are just street punks and could be replaced in a second. Let them all go make fries at McDonalds.

I think they should have expelled players from both teams and suspened players from both teams. Get Coker out since he can't control his team, much less win with them and bring in a leading, discipling, and knowlegeable coach who will set the team straight. Not just do better blah, more like you keep up your grades, your work, your conduct (on and off campus), and team commitments only then can you play you break the rules your suspended 1-3 games, again your benched for half the season, third offense your done playing that season, anything else and your off permanently ( I don't care how good you are). Rock hard fair tough love coaching for miami, since they have had a continous problem. As for FIU expel the instegator, expel anyone else in the mainstream, suspend others, coach reprimand. Same for maimi but much harsher since they took over once the fight started.

No. I grew up hearing my dad and my uncles, Big Ten football players and fans, refer dismissively to "southern teams." Looks like things haven't changed! Too bad that Big Ten standards of sportsmanship don't exist throughout the country.
