Sorry, karan, but angel is right. This quote is from wikipedia: "Ligers grow much larger than lions, and even larger than the largest tigers, which can weigh in excess of 386 kg (850 lb)." She's the first to come up with it, so I have to give her the points. Oh, well, we both learned something today :)

if you want to be technical, the largest cat is a liger. they are a rare breed of cat. it is a lion and tiger mix. males get up to 900lbs and when on hind legs can reach up to 25 ft in the air.

The Siberian tiger is the largest tiger. They often reach over 8 feet in length, not counting the tail, and
weigh over 650-700 lbs.
The Sumatran tiger is the smallest of the tigers and the stripes are much closer together than the Siberian or Bengal.
