A family I know keeps all their packaged goods in grocery bags...flour, cookies, instant noodle (soup) cups, etc. They also keep all their fruit and onions in paper bags.

I don't keep them in the grocery bags, but I put them in big ziploc bags, then put the grocery bags in my little...oh crap, what do you call it...I madr it myself with cloth and elastic, looks like a funnel? Anyway, I put the grocery bags in there so I can use them for trash bags for the little trash cans.
