I believe in limited government and there is still factions of the Republican Party (the Paleo-cons and the libertarians) that support that. There is no support at all within the Democrats for limiting government.

First how can you possibly remember the platforms of the party of Lincoln (other than stopping slavery & winning the civil war)?

The republican party has had so many changes since Lincoln if he were alive today I don't think he would understand what it has become.

Even in the modern era the difference in the Republican party from the days of Barry Goldwater to today's Bush are incredibly different. So much so that Barry wouldn't recognize what has become of the GOP today. Even Reagan would look at Bush's big govt. policies and grinch in disbelief at what he had done to Reagan's Republican party.

The Republican party for better or worse has evolved over the decades to the point to now many Republicans don't know what the Republican party is anymore but if it went back to the ideals of Lincoln I'm sure it would be much better than it is today.

In this country you basically have two parties to pick from, otherwise you are pretty much throwing your vote away.

The views of the canidates vary widely between each party. It is much better to vote for an individual rather than a party but since you can't know everything about every one of the canidates on each ballot you have to cast, you need to select a party based upon what issue/issues are of utmost importance to you.

Having said that, I believe abortion is the modern American holocaust. We should expect no blessings from God so long as we butcher his most defenseless people. Many more Republicans are prolife than are Democrats. That is why I usually vote for Republicans.

I'm not a Republican per say, but of the possible choices to succeed in the election, it teaches the least that one is entitled to receive a life style. This teaching angers all economic groups. The poor only see they will never be given all they are entitled to. The ones that either were born into it feel the government is extorting too much. Neither group gets to feel appreciated for their contribution to society.

Today neither party seems to want anything, but inaction. I've written both sides of the aisle on what it will take to have Renewable Energy come about. At the moment Renewable Energy will not bet able to directly compete with the energy that created it. To compete fossil fuels will have to skyrocket AFTER the installation of the Renewable Energy infrastructure.

OOPS I'm on my soap box again. Sorry

Hillary is awful so consequently, it replaced into superb the way they did it because of the fact in any different case she'd get the nomination (and the U. S. might circulate to ****). yet yeah, why difficulty splitting it up, commonplace electorate don't comprehend the way they're chop up up, we could continually look ahead to the information channels or the newspaper to let us know what number delegates each and each won. How approximately get rid of great delegates too? those are basically retarded, like most of the Democrat judgements this first season. FL and MI desperate to push aside occasion regulations and now are whining that they do no longer count selection. do no longer destroy the regulations YOU IDIOTS! i'm so aggravated with all politics ideal now, extraordinarily with Clinton. Drop out already queeny.
