are there any makeup tricks which can make a nose look smaller?

Shadowing, by using darker make-up in certain places that you want to make look smaller or more hollowed-out looking, and then using your regular color make-up on the rest of your face will achieve this affect. Same as darker or lighter eye shadow will make your eyes look larger or smaller.

One tip is to contour. Take a shade 1-2 shades darker than your skin tone. Take a small brush and run it along the sides of your nose. Take a fan brush and blend it out. Then apply a illuminating product and apply it on the bridge of your nose. Also, the farther back your start your eyebrows, the bigger your nose looks. If your brows are closer together, the smaller your nose looks. It all about shadow and angle. By contouring, you are creating shadows the make your nose appear smaller. Hope I Helped. :) - Katie

God - I hope you get some ideas from this question. I need em too!
Although I have heard using a light stroke of a powder blush down the centre can make it look smaller. Not much though, just about what is left after you have blushed your cheeks.

powder to take the shine away and keep it from looking bulbouse'
also draw focus to your eyes by making them lively
use a nice blush to bring the eyes up from the nose to the newly made-up eyes

Well there's always plastic surgery... I think if you powder it to make it look less... shiny, then perhaps it would look smaller.
