There are two basic types.

The first looks like a little silver "egg" or "bullet". You get one that is small enough to fit on the sensitive outside parts (clitoris) during intercourse. These are very popular, and come in various sizes, vibrating abilities (avoid the ones that double as floor sanders), and external speed control (always fun to see who gets to control the speed).

If you intend on using this little bullet anally, then insert it into a condom before you start. This type is NOT safe for anal use do to the fact that it might just stay inside.

The second type is the "inside" type. Normally these look like a penis. They come in various sizes, shapes, textures, bells, whistles, etc. One size does NOT fit all, and you might want to make sure you purchase something that does NOT look it was modeled after Man O War or Dumbo. The purpose of these is to stimulate the inside parts, including the legendary "g-spot".

If you intend of trying to use this last type anally then double-check the size warnings above, and make sure that the base is soooo big that it couldn't possibly get lost inside of you (the base can't be inserted).

I'd recommend shopping w/ your hubby for this thing. If you get something that doesn't work, go buy another one.

Don't forget some lube if you use the phallic type.

LAST THING -- don't forget to wash these things when you're done!!!!

My advice is don't get something too intimidating. Size counts but bigger is not always better. You also want variable speeds so that the two of you can experiment as to what feels the best. Also remember that it can be fun for him too. Not inserting, unless he wants that, but against his stuff may prove to be interesting. If you don't want it to be a surprise go shopping together. You may find some other stuff to bring on the trip. Handcuffs can be a blast, along with body paints and blindfolds. Have fun and enjoy your anniversary!!!! I know he will!

Go to Adamandeve.com and they have a vibrator called the kiwi and it is small and portable, non-intimidating and has adjustable speeds. I think it is the best one they sell if you are just trying one out. Good luck and what a nice treat for both of you. Happy anniversary.

I suggest you buy and read the latest FHM. You will get a lot tips, do's and dont's from it. To add up, just be honest and open with your partners when you are in an intimate moments. Inform and tell your husbands or partners what you want, how he wants you to do it and when you want it to happen. Let your partners feel that they are the best and you really love what they are doing in bed with you. Try everything and explore! Goodluck!
