My mom does it. Bless her heart, she only started using the computer two years ago. She writes in CAPs because that is how she does it with a pen too. Mom was a drafter for many years. Old style drafting, before computers.

I KNOW, ITS REALLY ANNOYING, RIGHT?
I hate it too. I don't like feeling like people are screaming at me. They do it to draw attention to their answer or use it to try to get their point across better. I actually think an answer sounds better if you sound like you are saying it in a calm and intelligent way, NOT LIKE THIS.

My Mom does it because she is a bad typist.
My Dad does it cause he likes it.
I DO IT- Cause i like to yell= LOL....
Actually it means BOLD font to me, when that is not available.
But I totally get what your saying!
